About This Fundraiser

As recent news stories have made clear, domestic violence is an issue that pervades our society, affecting everyone from Hollywood celebrities to our neighbors here in Flushing.

Statistics back up the headlines. Over 31% of women in the United States have experienced intimate partner violence at some point in their lives. And although it's hard to get a exact number, 41-61% of Asian women in the US have been abused by an intimate partner... And that's only the reported cases!

On October 18, 2014, we're running alongside others in our community to take a stand against domestic violence. By educating ourselves and talking openly about this issue, we can take small but significant steps towards a violence-free society. Please join us in supporting this important cause!

Thank you!
